- About
us.
-
- Founded in 1995,
Centrix International is a worldwide distributor of computer
components.
- Our customers
include familiar leading names such as Dell, Microsoft, IBM,
Raytheon, Boeing, America Online, Northrop Grumman and more
locally (JPL) Jet Propulsions Laboratory, and (Caltech)
California Institute Of Technology. We have sold to colleges
from coast to coast, to countless resellers here and abroad,
and to a number of government agencies.
-
- While most of
our business is wholesale, online ordering allows end-users
real-time access to wholesale pricing. Anyone can securely
and efficiently order parts for prices that are far less than
retail prices, starting from a quantity of only one piece!
We have been on the Internet since 1996.
- From our experience,
we have developed a simple and straightforward online shop. Some of our
policies are below.
-
- No banners
ads, no fluff.
We promote some of our items, but do not bother our customers
with intrusive flashing ads. The most exciting thing here is
the price.
- We purchase
in quantity, and we stock items. As a result of this, we offer low prices and fast
shipping.
- Simple Concise
Descriptions.
Our listings include the necessary part numbers and specifications within
the description, and usually a link to a spec page, and at least
one picture.
- Email tracking
updates keep you on top of orders. After placing an order, a confirmation
email will be sent to the address you specify. Once your order
ships, we will send you your tracking information.
- Centrix International
is devoted to keeping your information safe and private. 128-bit-encryption ensures your
security, and we use personal information strictly to process
orders. Ordering from us will not result in having your
personal information or business added to any mailing list.
This is a Network Solutions secure
site.

- Still Have Questions? Please
read our FAQ
page.
-
- The technology industry
is constantly changing, and creating excess. We specialize in
the purchase and marketing of OEM excess inventory, and
surplus technology products. OEM stands for Original
Equipment Manufacturer. Almost all PC component
and software venders make two versions of the same product based
on a difference in the distribution channels. One is the retail
boxed product sold mainly through retailers.
-
- The second version
is the OEM product. Imagine Compaq, Dell, or HP purchasing 20,000
motherboards from Intel. These motherboards are not sold
separately but installed in their computers, and then sold as
a complete system. Therefore, when Intel delivers these boards,
the packaging is in bulk quantities of 10 or 20 per box. Nothing
is included other than the motherboard. When buying an OEM product
the buyer is expected to have the knowledge to locate the
software and updates necessary to make the equipment work if
it has not been provided.
-
- Note to end-users
Unless described as "retail,
all products we sell are OEM. An OEM product, as defined above,
- will not be
provided with a manual or drivers unless otherwise indicated.
Often this information is available on the Internet. These
products are to be used and installed by advanced users only.
- We will not
provide technical support on how to use or install any of the
products we sell.
- If you consider yourself
a novice, we strongly suggest you select retail items.
